Empowerment & solidarity
With a local and regional reach through
partners and associates, we aim to make specific, time-bound,
meaningful input in poor and marginalized communities.
First,
at the individual psychological level, where empowerment
activities aim to effect positive personal change as a key
ingredient for overall community transformation;
Second,
social empowerment in terms of community organization activities
that promote local grassroots leadership and encourage
and develop inter-communal solidarity among members of same
community;
Third,
economic empowerment through activities that support
small, creative initiatives that provide best-practice learning
opportunities. These activities fall into the theme or
economic justice, and will work through women, especially
those who are in situations of conflict.

and solidarity grid of activities for 2004-2006"
