The International Work and Study Camp is an ongoing project motivated by the conviction that interaction transforms relationships.

The overall objective of the camp is to work with youth from Europe, North America, the Middle East, Africa and Asia on the process of dialogue and understanding through both workshops, lectures, exercises, field visits and some manual work (cleaning, fieldwork etc.), since the two levels of working and talking together provides different and complementary experiences.

In this way the camp seeks to overcome some of the stereotypes that exists between different cultures and to provide a deeper and better understanding of ‘the other’ by bringing together youth (23-30 years old) from diverse backgrounds to engage in intercultural and interfaith dialogue.

Lastly, “The International Work and Study Camp” will hopefully give the participating youth the opportunity to be the starting point of transformed and transforming relations by experiencing dialogue in praxis.
