FDCD Structure
The FDCD Board will meet annually to propose/amend
FDCD directions based on changes in the local/regional context.
The Board members will be encouraged to participate in the
activities of the forum so that during the annual meeting,
they would not only propose future vision for the Forum,
but also undertake rigorous evaluation of the activities
that had taken place in the previous year. Furthermore, the
Board meeting would become expanded to accommodate for Board
members of the FDCD sister organization in Limassol, Cyprus,
the Middle East Dialogue and Empowerment Association MEDEA.
Where possible, FDCD President, the Executive Director,
and Part-time/Volunteer/Freelance Associates will
meet periodically (at least two times annually) for internal
evaluations and to measure indicators of progress of the
activity and deviance/concordance from the Plan of Action.
These meeting would ideally take place on the before of
after any given activity in order to minimize expenses
and maximize participation in evaluation sessions.
National and International Partners would
be invited to a Bi-annual FDCD Partners Meeting, to coincide
with an annual FDCD Board Meeting, for presentation of progress
reports, discussions on partnership issues and themes, and
evaluation of FDCD activities. As a regional organization,
the Forum is keen on bringing in international perspectives
and partnerships through its partner-organizations.
Note on Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation : all
FDCD activities are planned based on PME style of planning,
monitoring and evaluation and Project Cycle Management
methodologies PCM adapted to meet the needs and priorities
of the organization. Where possible, these methodologies
would be transferred to local partners in order to better
disseminate the knowledge.
