We invite individuals from diverse backgrounds, divided by differences and conflicts, to open their hearts and minds, encouraging them to see the world through each other’s eyes. As catalysts of peace, we create safe spaces for dialogue—whether in mediation rooms, conferences, sports fields, on stage, in late-night discussions, or in nature— allowing the engagement between people and communities to transform their attitudes and perceptions. By fostering positive contact and building strong bonds, we aim to restore trust and inspire collective action. Working towards a future where just systems are built to ensure the dignity, safety, security, and peaceful world every human deserves.

Dignity is the fundamental principle that guides all our actions and decisions, ensuring that every individual, especially those facing adversity, is always seen, heard, and valued.
For us, dignity is the recognition of the intrinsic worth of every human life, transcending productivity and differences, while affirming the right to live without fear of degradation, dehumanization, or the suppression of one’s full potential. We are committed to upholding dignity in every interaction, striving to create a safe space where everyone can thrive. We are also dedicated to the following:
Working together to achieve common goals fosters stability and ensures that all members of society feel valued and supported, which strengthens the overall welfare of the nation. However, solidarity does not mean homogeneity or ignoring accountability, or sweeping disagreements under the rug. We train our partners to embrace global citizenship, support one another and create a safety net to protect the discriminated against -especially in times of crisis, while respecting differing opinions and encouraging critical thinking.
Safe dialogues transform conflicts. We foster safety by practicing the discursive civility principles by Stephanie Pukalles such as open expression of emotions, maintaining respect and refraining from hate. We invite our partners to practice perspective taking, by actively listening to the other with the willingness to acknowledge that they might make sense and inciting us to reflect and review our own beliefs. These guidelines are at the base of challenging enmity and promoting cooperation between citizens.
We believe that sustainable community change begins with personal transformation. We empower our partners by equipping them with new skills, knowledge, and information, helping them gain deeper understanding about themselves and the world around them, to make informed life choices and experiment with who they want to become.
Since we address very sensitive topics and work on perception and behavioral change, our programs are designed with a deep understanding of the local context and environment. We are sensitive to the unique needs, cultural norms, and circumstances of the communities we engage with, ensuring that our interventions do not cause harm or trigger harmful behaviors or unintended negative consequences or endanger our participants both during and after the training. Our goal is to foster positive, sustainable change that respects and supports the lives of those we collaborate with, without exposing them to unnecessary risks.
Communication dynamics shape our behavior and interactions, and media narratives are no exception. In this region, framing, misinformation, and hate often normalize violence and fuel conflict. We advocate for accurate information, create engaging content and innovative tools, and collaborate with creators to debunk harmful narratives, influencing public discourse and policy. We also promote respectful social media engagement to encourage civil dialogue, even in disagreement.
We do not favor ready-made solutions, rather inspiration. Participants as leaders and co-creators, are uniquely aware of their community's needs. Our role is to work with them on assessing and implementing their visions. That’s why we partner with local focal point and local organizations who are knowledgeable and give us more insights on the local context. Consequently, we adapt to stakeholders' vision, even when our views diverge. This interaction and trust foster a sense of autonomy and ownership with our partners and ensure sustainability of initiatives beyond and outside our involvement. Additionally, it trains our leaders to actively negotiate their role in decision making.
Failing to recognize the complex ways that power structures create discrimination does not build equitable communities. Therefore, we design and empower our local partners to create solutions, initiatives, and environments that take into account the overlaps between various dimensions of personal and community identities (race, ethnicity, sexuality, and class, etc.) and forms of power. This perspective allows our partners and ourselves to gain holistic and deeper understanding of calamities and tackle them effectively.
We acknowledge that the dismissal of identities and the exclusion from access to justice, power and resources are at the root of violent conflicts. This is why we include communities from diverse cultures, races, nationalities, regions and religions in every activity, providing them the means to address their grievances, express their identities and access resources to fully engage in society. We encourage our participants to adopt this framework as it drives innovation, strengthens community bonds and policies’ legitimacy.
Knowledge is not enough for self-awareness. This is why we prioritize the formation of new and meaningful interactions among diverse individuals and communities to build trust and foster understanding. These connections challenge prejudices, spark hope and build solidarity networks. We nurture these networks as they incite collective behavioral change and serve as safety nets protecting the marginalized especially during crises.
